Enlisted at Dublin on the 12th of August 1846.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 7".

Trade: Carpenter.

Dark complexion. Black eyes. Black hair.

Service

Sent to Scutari on the 23rd of March 1855 and sent to England on the 23rd of March 1855.

Discharge & pension

>Discharged from Aldershot on the 13th of February 1864 as "Worn out by the effects of venereal disease combined with long service."

Served 17 years 186 days. In Turkey and the Crimea, 1 year.

Conduct and character, "very good." Is in possession of four Good Conduct badges.

Aged 35 years 6 months.

To live in Dublin after discharge.

Awarded a pension of 10d. per day.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman, Sebastopol and the Turkish medal.
