Born at Clapham, Surrey, c.1835.

Enlistment

Enlisted at London on the 6th of November 1854.

Age: 19.

Height: 5" 8".

Trade: Smith.

Service

Embarked for the Crimea on the 4th of September 1855 and arrived in the Crimea at Balaclava as part of a draft of 50 men under the command of Lt. Robert MacNeill, on the 29th of September 1855. Served in Eupatoria

Deserted from Longford on the 16th of September 1857.

Medals

Entitled to Crimean medal without clasp and the Turkish Medal.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.

Commemorations

Life after service

Can find no further trace to March of 1867.
