At Scutari General Hospital from the 25th of September 1854 and sent to rejoin the regiment on the 10th of November.
Died "in the Regimental Hospital" on the 4th of June 1855.
Next of kin: Wife, May Wood. Living at No. 34 Canning Street, Dewsbury Road, Leeds, Yorkshire.
He also sent money to his mother, living at No. 37 Old Jewry, London, and to his brother at the same address.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma and Sebastopol.
