Enlisted at London on the 15th of April 1846.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 6".

Trade: Labourer.

Service, discharge & pension

Tried by a Regimental Court-martial on the 12th of July 1854 for "being drunk on Medical Officer's Parade." Given 50 lashes.

Sent to Scutari on the 30th of October and died there on the 25th of December 1854.

Next of kin: Mother, Mary Bow. Living in London.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Alma and Sebastopol.

The muster roll for the Balaclava period states, "sick, absent."
