Enlisted at Liverpool on the 10th of April 1854.

Height: 5'

Service, discharge & pension

Sent from the Maidstone Depot to Dorchester on the 12th of March 1855.

Embarked for the Crimea on the 4th of September 1855 and arrived in the Crimea at Balaclava as part of a draft of 50 men under the command of Lt. Robert MacNeill on the 29th of September 1855. Served in Eupatoria.

Transferred to the 3DG at Cahir on the 28th of February 1857 with the Regimental No. of 261 and joined the regiment at Canterbury.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to Crimean medal without clasp and the Turkish Medal.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
