Birth & early life

Enlistment

Enlisted on the 27th of February 1855 from the Dorset Militia.

Service, discharge & pension

Embarked for the Crimea on the 4th of September 1855 and arrived in the Crimea at Balaclava as part of a draft of 50 men under the command of Lt. Robert MacNeill on the 29th of September 1855.

Served in Eupatoria.

Sent to the York Depot on the 11th of September 1867 upon the regiments going to Canada and discharged from the Canterbury Cavalry Depot on the 28th of February 1868.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to Crimean medal without clasp and the Turkish Medal.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
