From Private to Corporal: 10th of May 1854.

Sent to Scutari on the 25th of September 1854. No date is shown when he rejoined the regiment.

Reduced to Private by a Regtl. Court-martial on the 27th of September 1854.

Sent to Scutari on the 20th of June 1855 and to England on the 31st of July.

Discharged, "time expired", from Manchester on the 1st of March 1863.

Served 12 years 30 days.

Conduct: "good." In possession of two Good Conduct badges.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Sebastopol and the Turkish medal.
