Service, discharge & pension

Embarked for the Crimea on the 4th of September 1855 and arrived in the Crimea at Balaclava as part of a draft of 50 men under the command of Lt. Robert MacNeill, on the 29th of September 1855. Served in Eupatoria.

Sent to Kilmainham on the 6th of December 1856 and discharged, "from a Delicate Constitution and on the Reduction of the Regiment", on the 15th of December. 1856.

Served 1 year 363 days. In the Crimea, 306 days.

Conduct and character: "Good". Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Awarded 6d per day pension for six months, Final.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to Crimean medal without clasp and the Turkish Medal.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
