At Scutari General Depot from the 22nd of September 1854 and being sent to rejoin the regiment on the 3rd of October.
Tried by a District Court-martial on the 12th of February 1855 for "being drunk on sentry". Sentenced to 50 lashes, but this was remitted.
At Scutari from the 4th of April — 10th of May 1855.
Tried by a District Court-martial on the 24th of October 1855 for "being drunk on duty under arms". Given 50 lashes and stoppage of 1d. per day for 30 days.
Transferred to the 7th Hussars at Hounslow on the 10th of August 1857. Regimental No. 121.
Embarked for India aboard the "Greenwich" on the 27th of August 1857.
Died at Saultanpoor, India, on the 28th of August 1858. He left no will and is shown as "No small-book forthcoming for details of next of kin, etc." His credits were £4/9/10d.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Balaclava, Inkerman, Sebastopol and the Turkish medal.
Mutiny medal with clasp for Lucknow.
Served in the field in Oude, East Indies, from the 4th of February — 28th of August 1858, including the siege of Lucknow, 2nd-16th of March 1858.
