Enlisted 7th March 1855 at Headquarters.

Service, discharge & pension

Joined regiment at Dorchester from depot at Maidstone 2 August 1855.

Embarked for the Crimea on the 4th of September 1855 and arrived in the Crimea at Balaclava as part of a draft of 50 men under the command of Lt. Robert MacNeill, on the 29th of September 1855. Served in Eupatoria.

Invalided at Kilmainham 26th October 1857.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to Crimea medal without clasp and Turkish medal.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
