The muster roll states "Died of wounds" on the 20th of November 1854.

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava and Sebastopol.

The muster roll states "Died of wounds" on the 20th of November 1854.

In his "Memoirs", Corporal Thomas Morley says that Clifford, who was one of his men, "would not withdraw when ordered to do so and was cut to pieces." (See copy of this in the "Memoirs" file)
