Birth & early life

Born at Norfolk, c. 1836.

Enlistment

Enlisted at London on the 10th of November 1854.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 6".

Trade: Labourer.

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 25th of May 1855.

Died, "of fever", at Camp Kadikoi on the 27th of August 1855.

Buried in the 11th Hussar cemetery on the road between Kadikoi and Karani. (There is a copy of the memorial inscription in the 11th Hussar file.)

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Commemorations
