Enlisted at London on the 6th of May 1837.

No other enlistment details apart from his trade as a groom are shown.

Lummis and Wynn show his Regimental no. as 976.

From Private to Corporal: 31st of January 1834.

Corporal to Sergeant: 1st of April 1847.

In confinement, 7th — 18th of April, and reduced to Private by Regimental Court-martial on the 19th of April 1847.

From Private to Corporal: 28th of August 1850.

Corporal to Sergeant: 11th of February 1853.

Died, "of cholera", at Scutari on the 20th of December 1854.

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Inkerman and Sebastopol.
