Discharged, "invalided", from Chatham, on the 14th of November 1861.
Next of kin (in 1859): Mother, Elizabeth Field, to whom he had sent money from the Crimea.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman, Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal.
