Joined the Regiment in the Crimea on the 14th of July 1855.
[PB: LC says 15.6.1855]A man named as Robert "Issett" but with the Regimental number of Robert "Issart" was shown on a nominal roll made out at the Cavalry Depot at Scutari on the 9th of November 1855 as having been in Hospital there from the 12th of August. But see comments on this man and his service in the Crimea later in this record.
Rejoined the regiment on the 14th of November 1855.
Discharged from Dundalk on the 26th of October 1856:
"Reduction of the Regiment and being totally unfit for further service. Suffers from indolent ulcers of the legs; is not likely to become effective."
