Enlisted at London on the 23rd of October 1854.

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 25th of May 1855.

Tried by Court-martial at Scutari in the 9th of February 1856 for being a "Prisoner escaping guard", and sentenced to 10 days hard labour.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, on the "Reduction of the Regiment", from Canterbury on the 20th of November 1856.

Served 2 years 18 days.

Conduct: "Bad". Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal.
