Enlisted at Hounslow on the 15th of January 1849.

Height: 5' 7".

Service

From Private to Corporal: 28th of March 1851.

Corporal to Sergeant: 9th of July 1854.

Joined the regiment in the Crimea from the Depot on the 24th of August 1854.

Killed-in-action at Balaclava.

Next of kin: Father, John Jones, living at St. Peter's, Buckingham.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava and Sebastopol.
