Tried by a District Court-martial on the 16th of February 1855 for "being drunk on duty." Awarded 50 lashes, but this sentence was remitted.
Embarked for India from Cork aboard the S.S, "Great Britain " on the 8th of October 1857.
Volunteered into the 20th Hussars on the 1st of November 1863 with the Regimental no. 608. He joined the regiment at Zealot on the 28th of December 1858.
Died at Campbellpore, India, on the 8th of November 1869.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Inkerman and Sebastopol.
He is named as "Kelleher" on the medal rolls.
Mutiny medal with clasp for Central India.
Served at Kotah and Gwalior.
