Enlisted at London on the 28th of October 1850.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 7".

Trade: Labourer.

Service

Pockthorpe Cavalry Barracks, Norwich.

Robert Lawson, 19, Private, unmarried, born Ely, Cambridgeshire.

To England, "via Scutari", on the 1st of January 1855. He is shown as "with Lord Cardigan", and may possibly have returned to England with him.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "by claim, time expired", from Cahir on the 19th of November 1862.

Conduct: "good". In possession of two Good Conduct badges.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Inkerman and Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal.
