"Medical report upon the case of 1228 Private Frederick Lee, aged 24 years and 5 months, serving 2 years and 5 months, of which in the East 12 months. This man is considered unfit for the duties of a soldier and never likely to become efficient in consequence of Hernia Inguinal which first appeared in the Crimea in 1855. It is not a very bad rupture, but used at one time to descend frequently. It has not been induced by vice or intemperance. I was never able to confirm if it occurred on duty, but I believe it resulted from military duties."

Served 2 years 249 days, to count.
