He is shown on a nominal roll of men of the regiment at the Cavalry Depot, Scutari, made out on the 9th of November 1855, as being In Hospital there from the 15th of September.
Rejoined the regiment on the 14th of November.
Transferred to the Military Train at Dundalk on the 31st of January 1857. Regimental No. 1335.
He is named as "Linforth" in the Military Train.
Deserted from Woolwich on the 4th of November 1857.
Can find no further trace to 1865.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.
