Confined 8-15 of May and reduced to Private by a Regimental Court-martial on the 16th of May 1859.

From Private to Corporal: 1st of December 1859.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "by purchase", from Dublin on the 30th of October 1860. Payment of £5.

Served 13 years 335 days.

In Turkey and the Crimea: 1 year 10 months.

Conduct: "good".

In possession of two Good Conduct badges.

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman and Sebastopol.
