Birth & early life

Enlistment

Enlisted at Newbridge on the 30th of April 1854.

No other enlistment details are shown.

Service

From Private to Corporal: 6th of September 1854.

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 29th of April 1855.

Served with the detachment of the regiment under Lt. Colonel De Salis in the Expedition to Kertch on the 22nd of May 1855.

Sent to Scutari on the 2nd of July 1855.

Invalided to Englandon the 1st of August 1855, but was left at Malta on the voyage home.

Can find no further trace to 1879.

Discharge & pension

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

The medal roll shows — Medal to W.O. 3/11/--.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
