Enlisted at Westminster on the 1st of March 1855.

Height: 5' 7".

Service

Embarked for the Crimea aboard the H.T. "Echunga" on the 15th of May 1854. Embarked for India from Cork aboard the S.S. "Great Britain" on the 8th of October 1857.

Transferred to the 19th Hussars on the 1st of December 1863. Regimental No. 770.

Embarked for England from India on the 27th of February 1866.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "time expired", from the Canterbury Depot on the 25th of July 1866. Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman and Sebastopol.

Mutiny medal with clasp for Central India.

Served at Kotah and Gwalior.
