Born at Hacketstown, Ireland, c.1828.

Enlistment

Enlisted at Dublin on the 8th of May 1846.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 7".

Trade: Shop-man.

Service

At Scutari General Depot from the 22nd of September and joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 6th of November 1854.

Died "on board ship whilst on passage to Scutari," on the 6th of February 1855. Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Medals

Lummis and Wynn state "no clasps", but he is to be found on the Sebastopol clasp list.
