Enlisted at Leamington on the 1st of January 1853.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 7".

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 14th of July 1855.

Transferred to the 3rd Dragoon Guards at Dundalk on the 31st of January 1857. Regimental No. 233.

Death & burial

Died at Mhow, India, on the 28th of November 1861.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.

Death & burial

The India office records show him as having died at Mhow, India, on the 28th of November 1861 from "Acute Hepatitis" aged 24 years. He was buried on the same day by the Revd. S.D. Hamilton, Chaplain.
