Enlisted at Halifax on the 3rd of February 1855.

Age: 19.

Height: 5' 6".

Trade: Groom.

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 24th of May 1855.

Died, "of cholera", in Kadikoi Camp on the 24th of August 1855

Buried in the 11th Hussars cemetery on the road between Kadikoi and Karani. (See copy of memorial inscription in the 11th Hussar file.)

Next of kin: Father, Isaac Priestley, living in Halifax.
