Appointed to Orderly Room Clerk (as Sergeant) on the 26th of October 1854.
Died "in the Regimental Hospital" at Aldershot on the 2nd of August 1862.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol and the Turkish medal.
The Returned Medal book states that his Crimean and Turkish medals were returned to the Mint. There is no trace of issue.
