Discharged from Chatham Invalid Depot on the 21st of May 1861, as:
"Unfit for further service. This soldier was invalided from India with disease of the spleen and since he joined the Depot has had numerous epileptic fits, which he states are hereditary. He has been seen in a fit by the Medical officer at the Depot. Not aggravated by vice or mis-conduct."
