Returned to England on the 1st of January 1860.
Discharged, "At his own request, free, with right of registry for a deferred pension of 4d. per day upon attaining the age of 50 years", from Canterbury on the 9th of May 1861.
He was awarded his deferred pension from the 24th of July 1878.
