Discharged, "Invalided and the Reduction of the Regiment," from Brighton on the 24th of November 1856.

Served 1 year 262 days.

Conduct: "good". Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Awarded a pension of 6d. per day for six months.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal only. (See the record of 1941 Samuel Briggs.)

[PB: Is the following a quote from official documents? If so, style appropriately.]

Landed in the Crimea after the 9th of September 1855, but is specially entitled to the Crimean medal in consequence of having served with the Regiment in the Expedition to Eupatoria during the month of October of that same year. Camp Aldershot, 16th November of 1857.
