Born at Coventry.

Enlistment

Enlisted at Leamington on the 5th of January 1855

He was a volunteer from the 2nd Worcestershire Militia, in which his Regimental number had been 1465.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 5".

Trade: Ribbon-weaver.

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 14th of July 1855.

Death & burial

Died "in Camp" in the Crimea on the 20th of August 1855.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Lummis and Wynn do not credit him with any clasps.
