Enlisted at London on the 16th of December 1853.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 7".

Trade: Labourer.

He is shown on a nominal roll made out at the Cavalry Depot, Scutari, on the 9th of November 1855 as having been On Duty there from the 31st of August.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "by claim, time expired," from York on the 24th of December 1855. Conduct and character: "Indifferent." Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Granted a "Special Campaign Pension," (no date shown.)

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.
