Enlisted at Hounslow on the 25th of August 1853.

Service

At Scutari General Hospital from the 22nd of September and sent to rejoin the regiment on the 10th of October 1854.

Again sent to Scutari on the 28th of December 1854 and rejoined the regiment in the Crimea on the 11th of May 1855.

From Private to Corporal: 1st of April 1855.

Corporal to Sergeant: 16th of November 1855.

Discharge & pension

Discharged on the "Reduction of the Regiment," from Dublin on the 25th of March 1857.

Served 3 years 289 days.

Conduct: "good".

In possession of one Good Conduct badge.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal.
