He is mentioned in the funeral report of 1445 Anthony Wilder of the 11th H. published on the 20th of October 1894 as being:
"One of the four men of the Light Brigade formerly resident in the Bristol area who attended the first Balaclava Banquet in 1875, but all of whom had now, passed away."
