Born in the East Indies, c.1832.

Enlistment

Enlisted at Westminster on the 10th of November 1849.

Age: 17.

Height: 5' 7".

Trade: Grocer.

Sent to Scutari on the 21st of December 1854 and remained there until invalided to England on the 3rd of June 1855..

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "time expired", from Cahir on the 24th of December 1861.

Conduct and character: "Indifferent." Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman and Sebastopol.
